Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
"Another GREAT day! It's disco night tonight, with the boys making friends with children from the other schools."
Danny
Evening all!
Apologies there was no update yesterday. In amongst it all, Danny is a looking after the children and learning to ski himself!
Danny reports: "Sorry about no update yesterday, very busy during the evening. The kids are going to be skiing in Italy on Friday! Also they got beaten in a race down the mountain by a beginner... me!"
(I'm not sure who's having the most fun here...)
Today, Brian won skier of the day and picked up his award from Mr. Coyne.
A treat for you tonight from Danny - whilst we in Liverpool welcome spring and watch daffodils bloom, the boys are having a snowball fight in the Alpine sunshine! Check out the video clips in 'Gallery' using the link below to enjoy the fun.

Evening all! Here's the latest update from Danny in the Alps...
"Another successful day! Joe won 'skier of the day' in his group. Also, the children were trying little jumps etc. to be able to cope with the harder tasks ahead of them on more difficult ski routes."
And we have a special treat tonight - a quick wave from the ski lift from each of the lads! Please click the link below to go to the 'Gallery' page of the website:

Here are the photos from the first day out on the slopes!
The boys are having a fantastic time, flying around at the top of the mountain like pros on the more challenging runs whilst Danny learns the basics back near camp.
Everyone is having a great time and behaving well. More to follow soon...
Good morning parents and families! Here begins a week of updates from the snowy slopes of Montgenevre in the Alps.
The children left Edge Lane Retail Park at 7:30am on Saturday and began their adventure, flying out from Manchester to Turin in Italy, before completing the journey by coach up into the mountains. They are accompanied by sports coach Danny and one of our governors, Charlie Coyne (as well as all the children, staff and organisers from other Liverpool schools).
Last night, Danny said: "All safe and sound at the hotel. Everything went smoothly with the airport and travels. Tea time now before testing the ski boots."
**UPDATE**
Danny's lunchtime update says... "Great morning, had our first skiing lesson, the boys were at the top and I was on the level below so couldn't take any photos. I'll be taking some soon and sending them later after our second session."
Photos from the slopes to follow soon...
What a great afternoon for Norman Pannell! We took two dance troops from Years 2 and 6 to ESLA (Enterprise South Liverpool Academy) to take part in the latest fantastic LSSP school dance competition.

Out of 12 schools, we received one of the three top awards - a trophy for 'best teamwork'.
Y2 performed a beautifully cheeky routine to 'Naughty' from the Matilda musical soundtrack. Then Y6 took to the stage with an action-packed, energetic performance of 'Footloose'.
We are very proud of all the children and grateful to Miss Sutton, our brilliant dance teacher for all her help.
All back safe and sound and what a great trip it was! I hope the children are enjoying being back in the warmth and comfort of their own homes ready for a long sleep.
Here is the final instalment of photos from the last 2 days. Have a great weekend everyone!
Good morning everyone! I'm pleased to say that all the children had a really good sleep last night, with all dorms asleep by 11pm and not waking until about 7am. Almost all dorms were packed and tidy, bed linen sorted and rooms cleaned by 8am - incredible!
We've had a big cooked breakfast plus toast and cereal and are now finishing off our final activity. Shortly we'll be having lunch and then it's a quick visit to the gift shop before boarding the coach. At present we're on time and are aiming to be back at 2:30pm as planned.
We will put the remaining photos up when we arrive back at school later - these will help the children to remember the experiences and tell you all about them in detail over the weekend - they have been wonderful and a credit to the school. See you soon!
Here's a selection of some of the pics from a very busy day! The children are getting ready for bed now and I'm sure they'll be out like a light tonight.
Tomorrow we've got breakfast, two activities and lunch before hitting the road back to Norman Pannell.
Good evening parents and families!
It's coming towards the end of a long day in which the children have tried out a number of different activities including Nightline, Caving, Problem Solving, Orienteering and more.
Having just had dinner, the children are taking part in one last activity before we go off to the campfire. They're very excited because Mrs. Haggerty has just arrived with a big bag of marshmallows!
They have been on the go all day so we're hoping for a good night's sleep tonight before returning them home to you tomorrow afternoon.
If we can, we will upload more photos from today later. Have a nice evening.
