    Dear Parents and Carers,

Please find attached a letter from Liverpool City Council, inviting parents and families who are eligible for Free School Meals, or experiencing hardship over the holiday period, to access one of the programmes available city-wide for children.  These projects provide children with a good meal and exciting activities throughout the day during holiday periods, FREE of charge.

We are delighted to be one of the many venues for the providers this coming holiday, at Norman Pannell.  There is information in the attached letter and by following the links within it, but you can also directly email the provider at: sam.vicker@wearelsc.co.uk

The provision, delivered by 'Community of Yours CIC' at NP will be running from 9:30am - 3:30pm from Tuesday 2nd January to Friday 5th January, the week before school starts again on Monday 8th January in the New Year.  Places are limited, so please get in touch as soon as possible to secure a space if interested.

From the LA's document, this is the information for our venue:

Community of Sport CIC / Community of Yours CIC

Our Community of Yours Christmas Enrichment Clubs will be packed full of fun, engaging, motivational, physical & well-being activities.  The activities will help the children to develop new skills & knowledge, as well as consolidating their existing skills and knowledge.  We will encourage team activities, which will help the children in socialising with others, support the development of resilience, health and well-being and will help the children to develop new skills as well as new experiences. The activities will vary daily, to ensure a rich mix of provision and we will ensure that all activities are suitable for various ability groups, including SEND children. Sport will be included within the programme daily for at least one hour per day. The children will be able to try a range of various sports e.g. football, dodgeball, cricket, tag rugby, ultimate frisbee, rounders, junior-golf, gym, yoga, archery etc.

We will ensure to include Healthy Living and Nutritional Education within the programme, which will improve the knowledge and awareness of healthy eating. We will also provide a free nutritious lunch every day for the children.

    Age Range: 4-11 years
