WW1
During our lesson today year 6 made gas masks. Each of the children made one and I think you will agree that they are all fantastic.
Special Surprise
Today one of our students, Carson, brought in his Great, Great Uncle's WW1 booklet. In it there was a picture of the man and a Bible. The most interesting part of this is that Carson's Great, Great Uncle was shot (you can see the mark on the booklet where the bullet hit the book). However, Carson's Great, Great uncle smoked like many people did in those days and his tobacco tin saved his life.
Adam has made a fantastic gas mask. Well done Adam!!!
WW1
Over the weekend Grace and Rhys produced some lovely work about the war. Grace made a poem while Rhys made a gas mask.
