  Good morning everyone.  Although there is snow this morning, school is OPEN as usual.  Children will be brought in through the Community Room.

   

  We will be monitoring the weather carefully and will update the website should there be any change.  Please take care with your journey.

• Rock Kidz - NP kids to star at the Valley Theatre

  This week we have launched into our special 'Mental Health Awareness Week' with a special week-long extravaganza - Rock Kidz.

  Each day, John and Paul - professional rock musicians - are working with all the children from Reception to Year 6, learning songs based around friendship and positive choices.  This is all building up to the big show - 5:30pm at the Valley Community Theatre next week on Monday 26th February.

   

  The children will be performing live having already recorded a CD, which parents can buy along with other merchandise to remember the experience for years to come.

  The children slept really well last night and are full of energy again. We have had more snow this morning !

  Bags are packed and rooms are tidied. The children are already out orienteering and on an obstacle course. Here are a few more photographs from yesterday as promised. See you all soon...

  Good evening parents,

  We've had an absolutely brilliant day and I feel so proud of our children.

  Despite the cold and wet weather, they have put a 110% into every activity and have been a pleasure to take away! There are lost of photographs below, but there are still many more from caving and camp fire which I will post in the morning. The children are very tired after their busy day and asking for their beds so it will be an early night ...

• Year 2-4 Colomendy (Day 1)

  Good evening parents!  This is Mr. Simpson, delighted to tell you that the children have arrived safely and are already busy enjoying activities.  They have settled into their dormitories this afternoon and even made their beds - all 47 of them!

   

  After dinner, the children have kitted up and taken to the forest for early evening activities such as Low Ropes and Nightline.  Later it is movie night and no doubt a celebration for Evie whose birthday it is today!

   

  The teachers are out with the children just now, but will try to upload some photos later for you to enjoy.  In the meantime, relax and try to enjoy that 'peace and quiet'!

  

• Safer Internet Day 2018

  Today, is Safer Internet Day. It is being celebrated globally with the slogan “Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you”.

  Everyone has their part to play in making the internet a better place, including you! The children will be taking part in a range of activities in school including using technology safely, responsibly and respectfully.
