Thu 21 Jun 2018 Mr. Simpson

    Good morning parents and families!

The children all arrived safely yesterday and have had a great time so far.  During the afternoon we explored the forest and field, having a massive Y5 vs Y6 game of 'Capture the Flag'.  After that, we got in the stream for the ever-popular 'wellie walk', which the children loved!

After dinner we had tuck shop and then lit the campfire, toasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate before bedtime.

Fair to say some of the children, particularly Y6, might be a little tired this morning as sleep didn't seem to be their biggest priority as the time ticked past midnight, but we'll be fine and we're looking forward to kayaking and lots of other adventures this morning.

If there are any problems, we will phone you, so please don't worry about a thing, just relax!

From Mr. Simpson, Miss Harrison, Mrs. Haggerty, Mrs. Ghader and all the kids...

  • Safeguarding Alert from the Local Authority

Mon 11 Jun 2018 Mr. Simpson

    Dear parents / carers,

This evening, the Local Authority alerted us to an incident in the Belle Vale area of Liverpool that has been reported to the Police. T

his involved a male adult in a car who acted inappropriately/suspiciously and approached a child. Whilst we do not wish to alarm parents whilst the police consider the matter we would encourage our families and carers to continue to ensure their child travels safely to and from school and is safe within the community. We are not able to provide any details of the incident.
