Thank you to Jess, our dance teacher, for all her help and encouragement!
Yesterday, the children enjoyed a Spooktacular PTA Halloween Ball. Children from Reception to Year 6 dressed in their amazing outfits enjoyed dancing, luminous glow-sticks, games and a costume competition.
It was a wonderful night for all involved. Thank you to the PTA for their tireless work in providing such exciting events and raising money for the children of the school.

We believe that children really benefit from attending activities such as sports, art, drama etc. as they have fun, make friends and learn new skills. Letters for each club will be sent home - please fill in the permission slips and return them to school as soon as you can.
Our after school activities are free of charge, ending at 4pm or 4:15pm. If you need your child to be looked after until later, he/she can go straight into our after school provision, which starts on Monday.
Hello parents / carers!
We hope you have had a wonderful summer and that you and your child are looking forward to the beginning of the new school year.
Monday 3rd September is an INSET day so school is closed. Children in Year 1 to Year 6 begin at 8:55am on Tuesday 4th September.
Reception and nursery children start term on Thursday 6th September.
We would like to apologise to all parents/carers for having to cancel/postpone sports day this morning due to the bad weather. At this time of the year there is a lot going on in school and the timetable is completely full. We cannot find a full day where the whole school can participate in the same way.
We have therefore made the decision that the children will participate in a sports day this year but not with parents in attendance. This then allows us to be flexible when each pair of classes carries theirs sports day out - we want to avoid any further disruption for parents / carers. This will still be a memorable event for the children and the winners will still get the recognition they deserve with medals for the winners and certificates for all that participate. Please ensure your child has his/her PE kit in school each day, arriving at school as normal in uniform.
We apologise once again if this has caused you any inconvenience. Please check the class pages on the website for photos and videos of your child participating in events.
Unfortunately, due to the rain overnight and the wet forecast for the day, Y1-Y6 Sports Day is postponed. Children may still wear school PE kit if already dressed and ready for school, but uniform is preferable.
We will assess the forecast for the week before informing of a possible alternative day this week. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thank you.
Mr. Simpson
And just a few more...
The rooms are quiet and we've got fingers crossed for a good night's sleep (well at least, better than last night anyway!)
