Good morning parents and families back in Liverpool!
Just a quick update for you before breakfast to let you know that we have all had a great sleep (surprisingly!) - all the children were asleep by midnight - many earlier than that. With no dramas during the night, all dormitories were still silent when we woke them up at 7:30 this morning. For the first night of a residential trip, that is pretty good!
The children are having a great time and we are looking forward to a big breakfast and a packed day of exciting activities. I'll update with photos later - have a great day!
10pm - PHOTOS IN 5 MINUTES - just uploading! - we've only just got back from the forest camp fire and the children are being settled down for sleep by Miss Harrison, Miss Standaloft and Mrs. Miranda.
We've had another great day with the children taking part in a wide range of activities from 'Giant Zip Wire', to Caving, to 'Jungle Vines' and many more. Three huge meals were once again enjoyed by children and staff, with tonight's dinner of beef / veggie curry or chicken pasta, rice and wedges proving very popular! This was followed by hot chocolate, jokes and songs around a roaring fire. The children are worn out after all that, and looking forward to seeing their families after a good sleep. See you all tomorrow!
