As you may know, Norman Pannell has invested a huge amount of time, money and effort into the promotion of reading for pleasure.  We are currently applying for Liverpool's Reading Charter Mark Award, gaining recognition for the projects being led now and in the last few years to start a reading revolution at Norman Pannell.

Thanks to the exciting events and activities going on in school, led by Miss Gold our Reading Advocate and Literacy co-ordinator, our children, parents and staff are delving ever-deeper into the magical world of literature, with children and parents finding new ways of enjoying and celebrating books.  Events such as 'Stay, eat and read', 'Reading Revolutionaries', 'Reader in Residence' and 'Power of Reading', have helped to champion reading and develop a thirst for literature at our school.

We are all so proud of the children who star in these videos, which will be seen by thousands of people and used to inspire others to follow in our children's footsteps in developing a lifelong love of reading.  Many thanks to the City of Readers, Reader Organisation and School Improvement Liverpool for their support and expertise.
