We are sad to announce that Sue Nugent, our Y1&2 teaching assistant, is leaving us tomorrow to retire after 20 years at the school.
Mrs. Nugent has helped to teach and nurture a generation of Netherley's children at Norman Pannell, making the phonics zone in the infant hall her own and giving the children the building blocks of learning to help them throughout the rest of their lives. She has worked tremendously hard and shown enormous care and dedication to the whole school community.
Whilst we will of course miss Mrs. Nugent, we wish her a relaxing, joyful and exciting retirement - very well earned! Thank you, Sue, for your wonderful service to all connected to Norman Pannell Primary School.
