Norman Pannell Early Years is "OUTSTANDING"
(Ofsted, November 2016)
Flexible 30-hour FREE Nursery Provision for working parents to launch in September 2017 at Norman Pannell, in partnership with Bluebells Nursery.
Please call in to school to arrange a meeting and tour of the provision with Mr. Simpson (headteacher), Miss Gold (EYFS Lead) and / or Lynda Pauline (manager of Bluebells Nursery, which is on the school site).
Together, we will provide a high quality, flexible 30-hour Nursery provision solution to suit as many different working parents as possible, all year round.
The Early Years department at Norman Pannell is made up of 2 classes: Nursery and Reception. We have a great team of adults who work very hard to ensure that children get the very best start to their education - academically, personally and socially.
The large open-plan Early Years space allows the two classes to be taught separately, but with a close, caring relationship between children and staff. The large outdoor area is shared by both classes.
The Early Years department is led by Miss Gold, who teaches the Reception Class and is the team leader for the EYFS department. The full team consists of:
Miss Gold (Reception Teacher / Phase Leader)
Miss McCallion (Nursery Teacher)
Mrs. Brown (Nursery / Reception release teacher)
Mrs. Whitfield (Nursery Nurse)
Miss Sergeant (aka Miss Ashley - Teaching Assistant)
Mrs. Skillen (aka Miss Rita - Teaching Assistant)
Miss Amy (placement Teaching Assistant)
Mrs. Green (Teaching Assistant - Fridays only)
If you have any questions about Early Years provision, or would like a tour, please arrange an appointment to see Miss Gold or Mr. Simpson.
