The NSPCC’s Speak Out Stay Safe programme visited our school last week to help us make sure our pupils have the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse.
Norman Pannell is raising money for the NSPCC.
We will be holding a charity cake sale on Tuesday 13th June 2017 at 3:15pm in the infant hall and would be grateful of any donations of home baked or shop bought cakes which our School Council can sell to raise money for the NSPCC.
Any cake donations can be brought into school on the morning of 13th June for the sale that afternoon. Children can bring money into school to buy cakes at the end of the day.
We really appreciate your support and hope that you come and along to buy a cake!
This year Norman Pannell is raising money for Red Nose Day 2017.
Friday 24th March will be a non-uniform day for all children in the school. We are asking that the children support this charity by dressing up in red items of clothing and donating £1.00 each on that day. This money will be collected during morning registration.
The money raised is spent by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people, both at home and across the world’s poorest countries.
We will also be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity to help our pupils explore the issues facing young children across the world, and how the money we raise can help.We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping our school raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.
It’s that time of year again! The Children at our school are hoping to raise some money for ‘Children in Need’ and we need your support. This year we want your child/children to dress ‘spotty” and dress up in any of the following: Pudsey t-shirts, ears, something yellow, something spotty or any Children in Need merchandise. We will be asking for a donation of £1.00 per child which will go to ‘Children in Need’.
Watch this space for photographs of the day...
Pupils, parents and staff enjoyed a harvest celebration last Friday at Christ Church. A great deal of hard work went into the children's poems, prayers and wonderful singing and they reflected on what what they were thankful for.
A big thank you to all who kindly donated food for the Liverpool Cathedral Food bank.
The children from School Council will be visiting Hope Food Bank next week.
Children in Need Super Heroes
Our children have been true super heroes today raising money for Children in Need! It was lovely to see the school full of colour today. We had a whole range of heroes: favourite footballers, singers, firemen etc. A great day at Norman Pannell, supporting a great cause.
Since September, we have supported a number of charitable causes with a range of events:
Thanks to the generosity of the children, families and school staff, we have raised a lot of much-needed money for these excellent causes.
